The whole Poland celebrated National Day of Sport on 7
October. People were running, dancing, kicking the ball, swimming, meeting at
sports picnics and competitions. Also at our school, we celebrated this event. We
focus on sport and physical activity not from today, which is significantly
contributed by two projects run in our school. These are: ERASMUS + Goal! and
"Keep FIT". Coordinators of both projects - Ewa Pikus and Agnieszka
Pawlik - Osuch have planned many attractions for students on Tuesday 10th
October.
On this
unique day, exceptional people visited our School. Ewelina Barwicz - dance
instructor ran dance workshops. Sensei Mariusz Dąbek introduced pupils with the
secrets of martial arts with particular emphasis on self-defense.
Threre were
also workshops on which pupils deepened their theoretical knowledge of physical
activity and its great impact on our health. These issues were introduced by an
expert o that field Łukasz Frąk. Information about the influence of healthy
diet and proper nutrition was presented by Jadwiga Zapała. The students took an
active part in the class and asked a lot of questions about food and their
favorite products.
Not only did
the guests conduct sports activities that day. Running training was conducted
by Paulina Pawlik, proving that Polish teachers are also sporty and that
adventure with athletics can begin at any age.
We believe
that this actively spent day will remain in the memory of participants, and at
least some of them will result in a sporting passion!
KEEP FIT! ... with ERASMUS+!
