Sporty activities for breaks

While doing this activity we used "Older students teach younger ones"method. Older students prepared games that can be used during breaks to actively and safely spend time between lessons.

Especially the seventh-graders were engaged in this task - they played the role of teachers and taught their younger friends a movement game called "Kangaroos".
After explaining the rules and demonstrating the game, they invited the younger ones and they played together to the end of the break.

The elders admitted that the teacher's work was not as easy as they thought. They added that during this short time they had to explain, demonstrate, make the younger ones be quiet and even solve minor conflicts.
The younger students enjoyed playing with older ones, they felt important, and noticed by them. They approached the training with enthusiasm and interest. The proof was  the fact that the "Kangaroos" were initiated by them during next breaks.

This  method is an interesting form of work and a new experience for all who participated in activity.
